😊 Smile Please 😊

Every year on the first Friday in October, we celebrate World Smile Day. It's an opportunity to spread positivity and generosity toward others with the simple act of smiling. If you don’t smile enough this year, World Smile Day is the perfect day to start.
This day was surely imagined by the man who invented the smile emoji. He created the yellow circle with two dots for eyes and a curved line for a mouth in 1963, long before the internet came into our life. Even without Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp, smiley became wildly popular in those days.
Celebrating World Smile Day is very important this year. The pandemic taught us the power of kindness and humanity. This year, more than ever, we need a reason to smile and be happy. There are so many ways to celebrate World Smile Day (in a safe way), so let’s get right to it!Smile Please
Benefits of Smiling:
  • A smile helps you win arguments. With a frown on your face and irritation in your voice, you may not win over others or persuade people. But with a smiling face, you can win someone's heart.
  • You can build a friendship with strangers by wearing a simple smile on your face. A smile is an expression that communicates positive feelings. It can also be used to encourage and greet others.
  • According to most Psychiatrists, smiling affects your brain by activating neurological messages. These messages work to relax your body and relieve stress. That’s right, when you smile, you relieve stress!
  • Smiling improves your mood, reduces stress, boosts the immune system, and increases overall life expectancy! Smiling positively impacts those around you. It also improves your mental health.
Do something that makes you smile from your heart:
  • The easiest way to celebrate this day is to do something nice for another person. Give a tip to the food delivery person. Donate to your favorite charity. Donate books and clothes (in good condition) to a local shelter.
  • World Smile Day is all about smiling more and spreading happiness. You can distribute gifts, new clothes, chocolates, etc. among poor kids, visit an orphanage or old age home and spend time with those who are devoid of family.
  • You can arrange a “Stand Up Comedy Show” in your society where people can join and have a good laugh. This will give you an opportunity to do something for others and make them joyful.
  • If someone close to you is a psychiatrist, then you can arrange seminars in local clubs with them, so they can educate people about the benefits of smiling more and smiling often.
  • Cook your family their favorite meal. Have a family game night with everyone’s favorite snacks and drinks. Send greeting cards to your grandparents whom you probably haven’t seen in a long time.
Who wouldn’t want all those benefits? All it takes is a smile. And the more often, the better! No makeup or beauty filter can have the effect on the face that a smile has. And don’t forget to share this article with others and spread happiness!
Stay Safe, Stay Happy and Keep Smiling!
